Job purpose and scope

Drive and orchestrate the top line growth across the NEC Area (with key-focus into German market) for the following Customs products to ensure their commercial success: Core Services that supports end-to-end supply chain and MCH Maersk Customs Hub

For this role you can be located anywhere in Germany with a preference for the following locations with a Maersk office: Hamburg or Bremerhaven.

Key responsibilities

This Product & Growth role consists of steering the Product and Sales teams to grow the Managed-by-Maersk products Customs revenue and network utilization to meet their respective targets. Responsibilities are centered around pipeline performance management strategic direction setting and defining harmonized ways of working across functions for all above-mentioned Managed-by-Maersk products in strong connection to Transported-by-products (AIR Ocean LCL).

  • Own and drive all pipeline performance management responsibilities to steer the Product and Sales teams in delivering the top line targets.
  • Responsible for structuring developing and maintaining the tools and processes required to manage sales pipeline and network utilization.
  • Cascade and translate the Regional and Area strategy into an actionable go-to-market strategy and growth plans for the different products. Drive same to completion with the Area Product teams and the frontline teams across Europe to ensure aligned prioritization and successful outcome.
  • Define and harmonize the collaboration framework to structurally drive network selling between Europe and Asia Americas Africa Middle East with customer accounts controlled in those overseas regions.

Who we are looking for

  • Proven track record in a steering/direction setting role with focus on pipeline strategy and/or top line growth
  • Experience at Customs field min. 10yrs
  • Self-starter motivated professional with demonstrated ability to drive outcome and follow through to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to steer and influence cross-functional collaboration decision making and execution. Feeling at ease to navigate in a matrixed organization and to lead without authority.
  • Proficiency in Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a strategic mindset and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge in logistics industry with understanding AIR and Ocean flows
