What Youll Do
Digital Media Strategy 15%
Collaborate withSupervisor on strategy guidingAssistant(s)and Associate(s)in plandevelopment
Employ Horizon Medias suite of planning evaluation and buying tools for application/analysis into competitive landscape target digital consumption support plandevelopmentandreporting
Ensure digital strategy fits into overall brand communicationgoals
Participate in team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration setdevelopment
Monitor trends toolsopportunitiesand applications within digital environments and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and clientgoals
Guide andparticipatein creation and presentation of media specific documentssuch as media plansobjectivesand strategydecks and other relatedfunctions
Media Negotiating & Buying 30%
Gatherrates and developplanningcosts
Effectively negotiate & steward buys across multipleaccounts
Analyze daypart mixes and pricing withinplans
Serve as a market expert providing insight to the marketplace conditionscontinuouslyexploringunderstanding of industrytrendsand landscape intel
Manage budgets and deliverables (GRPs impressions response data) acrossnationalbuys
React quickly to campaign results and implement required optimizations asdirected
Oversee andassistin RFP creation and review of partners/site responses compile proposalanalysisand drive partnernegotiations
Campaign Management & Execution 20%
Oversee trafficking campaign set upsite tagging and ensure sites are enabled and functioningproperly
Ensure accuracy of insertion orders plan details spec documentsand confirmationthat all necessary materials arereceived
Delegate and provide direction on campaign post launch information (i.e.screenshotslinksand placement information) todemonstrateproof of placement forclients
Work alongsideAssistantand Associateon mid-campaign reconciliation billing pacing campaignvalidationand brandsafety
Manage market budgets and deliverables (GRPs impressions response data)
React quickly to campaign results and implement required optimizations asdirected
Assistaccount managerwith budget maintenanceand clearance spreadsheets and other campaigndata
Ensure all deals are delivering throughout theflight
Participate in campaign results meetings/calls with client and strategyteams
Reporting & Analysis - 20%
Monitor and report on media campaigns on an ongoing basis providing an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams mediapartnersand theclient
Interpretpartner ad verification and ad server data to provide critical thinking and analysis as well as draw conclusions and discover actionableimplications
Responsible for providing data for dashboards/Excel trackers as needed by account ensuring accuracy and validity of datashown
Effectively communicate optimization strategieschallengesand opportunities across display mobilesocialand video
Analyze MSAs and delivery reports from partners on a quarterly basistodeliver the post report to theBusiness Solutions team
Reconciliation 5%
Keep track of reconciliation progress
Responsible for checking monthlyactualnumbers are aligned to reportednumbers
Relationship Management & Mentorship-10%
Help to trainAssistantsand Associatesand contribute to theirdevelopment
Have foresight and understanding of projects tomaintainand adjust timing of deliverables for team at large communicating changes to managers andleadership
Develop andmaintainstrong mutually beneficial relationships with Horizon Media departments (Business Solutions Traffic Ad Ops Billing)as well as externalpartners
Effectively manage up and down collaborate with yourSupervisoronday-to-dayaccount activities status and deliverables
Guide team in setting goals projecttasksandtimelines
Oversee junior team membersduties in negotiating andmaintainingschedules/campaignsfor severalaccounts
Schedule check ins with junior team membersidentifyinggoals and opportunities for career development contribute to performancemanagement
Participate in interview process forAssistant/Associateroles

Experience working in fast-paced advertising/marketingenvironment

Proficientin Media Math
Experience usingPrisma
Knowledge of various channels and buying methods (video display programmatic social)
Familiarity with marketing principlesanalyticsand concepts
Confidence within Microsoft Office Suiteespecially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in negotiating and constructing digital mediaplans
Competence within systems and tools related to the media planning process (i.e.media management system billing system competitive and targeting tools)
Mastery of third-party ad server and ad verifications (DCM Double VerifyInnovidpreferred)

Salary Range
$64350.00 - $80000.00A successful applicants actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individuals skill sets experience training education licensure/certifications and qualifications for the role. As an organization we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
