Job Summary
Overview
The Salvation Armys Athol Corps. is hiring a Music Instructor & Kids Club Aide and offers the following benefit package to part-time employees:

Location: 107 Ridge Ave. Athol MA
Hours/week: 2-5 hours per week
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
*starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*
Lead music instruction; assist as Kids Club Aid
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement curriculum and programming that effectively meet the developmental needs of both individuals and groups.
- Monitor and maintain the facility to ensure cleanliness safety and functionality including attention to minor repairs health and safety standards inventory management and supply or equipment requests.
- Complete all assigned documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to encourage participation engagement and collaboration.
- Maintain a clean organized and secure environment at the end of each day.
- Ensure compliance with all State regulations related to health education nutrition and professional development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements:
High School or GED Required
Work Experience:
1 years experience working with children
Other Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated organized and creative
- Good communication skills
- Skilled in a brass instrument or piano preferred
- Skilled in theater arts or drama preferred
