Job Summary
The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint a hard working dedicated and self-motivated Site Manager who will take pride in the appearance of our schools environment. We are a large two form entry Primary school. The working hours for this role will be 37 hours a week over five days. Split-shift working days will be required and this will be negotiated with the successful candidate some additional out of hours may also be required due to supporting evening activities on site and key holder duties.
The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the management of all aspects of the site to ensure the smooth running of the school. This includes ensuring all duties are carried out to the highest of standards paying particular regard to the relevant Health and Safety regulations policies procedures and legal responsibilities.
Experience in caretaking or a similar role in a similar setting is essential. Experience of working in a school setting and a willingness to become involved in school activities is desirable but not essential. The post involves managing and liaising with other people.
