We have an exciting opportunity for aSupply ChainPlanningManagerto join our Large Power Systems team to support Caterpillar large engine production at ourKielfacility.

WhatYouWill Do:

Developimplementand support processes and practices for ensuring a plan for every part.

Ensureappropriateandtimelystock levels of materials components and equipment needed to manufacture and deliver products to support the manufacturing facility.

Coordinate with sales manufacturing and suppliers on short and long-term production forecasts and expected deliverables.

Manage relationships with internal customerscoordinatingand integrating planning processes.

Develop and continuously improve the accuracy of logistical needs including warehouse capacity equipmentneedsand resource needs.

Set upmaintain andmonitorlogistical processes and dependencies.

WhatYouHave(Key Skills/Experience):

Supply ChainManagement:Strongunderstanding of supply chain functions principles and techniques with the ability to develop and apply strategies practices and tools to control and optimizelogisticsprocesses.

Inventory Management:Solid grasp of inventory management processes and methodologies with the capability to effectively control local or distributed inventories of raw materials workinprogress and finished goods.

Process Improvement:Demonstratedability to assess current product quality and production methods whilemaintaininga strong focus on the continuous improvement of processes products and services.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail:Strong appreciation of accuracy and precision with the ability to complete tasks consistently toa high levelof detail.

Data Gathering & Analysis:Proficiencyin using data collection and analysis tools techniques and processes to objectively gather synthesize and evaluate information from multiple stakeholders and sources.

DistributionRequirementsPlanning(DRP):Understandingoftheconsiderationschallenges andprocessesinvolvedinsystematicallymanaginginventorydistributionacrossmultiple plantsorwarehouseswiththeabilitytothisexperienceinpractice.

EffectiveCommunication:Strongcommandofcommunicationprinciplestools andtechniqueswiththeabilitytoclearlytransmitreceive andaccuratelyinterpretideasinformation andrequirements.

ProblemSolving:Experienceapplyingstructuredapproachestools andtechniquestoidentifyanticipate andresolveorganizational operationalorprocessrelatedchallengesacrossdiversesituations.

Degreeorequivalentexperiencedesired.

Very goodGerman (at least C1) andvery goodEnglish skills (at least B2).
