Onsite Medical Scribe Position

One-on-one time with physicians and other healthcare providers.
Paid training that provides in-depth knowledge of HPI documentation EMR systems medical terminology disease processes procedures medications medical decision making and more.
Specialties you could work with: Primary Care (Internal Medicine Family Medicine Pediatrics) Surgical Specialties (Orthopedic General Breast Urology Dermatology) Medical Specialties (Cardiology Gastroenterology Pulmonary Radiation Oncology Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Pain Management).

Successful Scribe Traits:

Consistent availability
Reliable transportation
Typing test score of 60 WPM
Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail

What You Will Do:

Scribe in real-time while accompanying physician during clinic documenting patient information into the EMR (history chief complaint review of systems physical exam assessment and plan).
Input orders as directed by the provider including laboratory tests radiology tests medications etc.
Handle any and all patient information with the utmost compliance to HIPAA regulations.
Communicate any providers schedule changes to the client services team.
Support your providers clinical hours. Example schedules:
- Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
- Monday Wednesday 1 PM - 5 PM Tuesday 8 AM -5 PM Thursday 8 AM -12 PM

Area of Offices to Support On-site:

Salem Roanoke and Blacksburg.

Compensation:

Hourly rate of $12-15 per hour based on experience
