OVERVIEW
ISS STOXX is seeking a few full-time Governance Research Interns for the 2026 Proxy Season! This position will be based in Singapore and would mainly cover the China and Taiwan Market from April 27-June 12 2026 (7 weeks).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze corporate governance and financial information to process data and write research reports on publicly traded companies mainly in mainland China and Taiwan;
Issue proxy vote recommendations for shareholder meetings of the companies mainly listed in stock exchanges in mainland China and Taiwan;
Develop market expertise in corporate governance investment and shareholder issues gathered through research and potential engagement with company executives institutional investors and government/regulatory/listing authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate or graduate students majored in Business Finance Economics Accounting Statistics or any related fields or equivalent experience;
Must have strong oral and written communication skills in Chinese (both simplified and traditional) and English;
Able to work independently and in a team environment as well as under tight deadlines;
Analytical and detail-oriented have a keen sense of judgment and be goal-oriented;
Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks;
Proficiency in the use of web-based and Microsoft Office applications;
Passion for corporate governance research;
Experience and knowledge of corporate governance and proxy voting issues is preferred;
