Internships at AllisonPartners are more than coffee runs. Our interns are fully integrated into the office and account teams. We look for college seniors or graduates who can intern 5 days per week for at least three months. We view this as a test run before you join the Allison family.
We are looking for self-starters who will roll up their sleeves and help with whatever is thrown their way. This could be organizing the office; getting the team and office ready for a client or new business meeting; brainstorming a creative media mailer sourcing the product assembling and executing the mailing; doing first rounds of research media list development and client reports; drafting media pitches and ultimately calling the media!
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Media monitoring and daily coverage tracking across markets
- Drafting first cuts of press materials briefing documents and media lists
- Supporting campaign and announcement coordination (timelines trackers asset management)
- Research and stakeholder mapping to support pitch work and ongoing programmes
- Assisting with reporting measurement and monthly / quarterly summaries
- General programme management support to ensure smooth delivery across accounts
- Supporting new business opportunities via research and brainstorming
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Someone who has an interest in and enthusiasm for public relations journalism and/or communications
- Skilled in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledgeable in social media
- Enjoy working in collective cross-office team environment
- A quick learner with a relentless attention to detail
- A self-motivated multi-tasker and clear communicator both written and verbal
