As an Inside Sales (IS) Account Manager at Trojan Technologies you bring established knowledge and skillsdeveloped through prior experience or trainingto support and drive sales of parts and services within the municipal water and wastewater market. You work within defined processes operate independently with moderate supervision and manage your own workload to deliver high-quality service to our installed base of UV systems.

You are responsible for managing customer relationships throughout the lifecycle of Trojan UV systems. This includes onboarding new customers to consumables providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for services upgrades and system expansions within existing accounts.

This position is Hybrid (3 days at the office) in one of the following locations: London ON Guelph ON or Grand Rapids MI.

In this role you will:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via the shared territory mailbox ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes and process purchase orders in line with established procedures.

  • Conduct proactive outbound sales calls to maintain customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.

  • Track customer activities opportunities and interactions in Salesforce with a high level of accuracy.

  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Account Manager (RAM) to support territory strategy and customer needs.

  • Identify and resolve routine customer issues applying judgment to escalate more complex situations when needed.

  • Manage your workload independently to ensure timely accurate completion of tasks with minimal rework.

  • Support service delivery by consistently following standardized sales and customer support processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales customer service or sales negotiation.

  • Proven track record of selling products and services through inbound and outbound customer calls consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional partners.

  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred) with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $60000 - $75000 USD per job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
