How youll contribute

AStudent Radiology Tech who excels in this role:

• Ensures that patient examinations are performed in an accurate and timely manner; not to exceed 30 minutes. Provides accurate patient positioning computer entries and filming.

• Maintains an effective use of time reports availability accordingly. Demonstrates a willingness and ability to assist others. Consistently displays team effort.

• Applies knowledge to produce high quality diagnostic images with use of professional knowledge to meet or exceed department guidelines.

• Maintains exam accuracy i.e. minimum views labeling patient dose positioning patient history and shielding. Minimizes patient exposure. Maintains a safe working environment.

• Maintains knowledge of equipment performance. Reports malfunctions to supervisor. Conveys to supervisor any problems related to supplies or equipment as well as information pertaining to the problem.

Applicants should be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Additional requirements include:

• Must be working on completion of a Bachelors Degree Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (verification from school is required).
