How youll contribute
AStudent Radiology Tech who excels in this role:
Ensures that patient examinations are performed in an accurate and timely manner; not to exceed 30 minutes. Provides accurate patient positioning computer entries and filming.
Maintains an effective use of time reports availability accordingly. Demonstrates a willingness and ability to assist others. Consistently displays team effort.
Applies knowledge to produce high quality diagnostic images with use of professional knowledge to meet or exceed department guidelines.
Maintains exam accuracy i.e. minimum views labeling patient dose positioning patient history and shielding. Minimizes patient exposure. Maintains a safe working environment.
Maintains knowledge of equipment performance. Reports malfunctions to supervisor. Conveys to supervisor any problems related to supplies or equipment as well as information pertaining to the problem.

Applicants should be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Additional requirements include:
Must be working on completion of a Bachelors Degree Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (verification from school is required).
