You want to turn numbers into real insights and get to know Group Controlling in a dynamic digital environment As a Working Student in our Group Controlling team you support us in steering our business with data and gain hands-on experience in reporting analysis and management decisions.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• You support Group Controlling in the preparation of regular reports and analysis for example monthly performance reports ad-hoc analyses and management presentations.

• You collect validate and structure financial and non-financial data from different source systems and ensure that our numbers are reliable and up to date.

• You prepare clear well-structured Excel evaluations and PowerPoint presentations that help management make informed decisions.

• You analyze deviations between plan forecast and actuals identify first root causes and derive initial recommendations together with the team.

• You help to further develop our reporting landscape by optimizing existing templates dashboards and data structures.

• You take over administrative tasks such as maintaining master data updating reporting calendars and supporting document management.

• You support the team in coordinating meetings preparing decision documents and following up on action items.

• You are involved in ad-hoc requests and smaller projects in Group Controlling for example supporting in budgeting or forecasting processes or in the introduction of new analysis tools.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You are enrolled at a university in Business Administration Economics or a related field ideally with a focus on Controlling Accounting or Finance.

• You have already successfully completed several semesters and bring basic knowledge in controlling concepts such as cost accounting budgeting variance analysis and KPI management.

• You are interested in understanding how a group is steered financially and want to apply your theoretical knowledge from your studies in practice.

• You work confidently with MS Office; especially in Excel you know how to use formulas pivot tables and basic data analysis and you create clear and compelling presentations in PowerPoint.

• Ideally you already have first experience with ERP or BI tools (e.g. SAP Power BI Tableau or similar) or you are highly motivated to learn them quickly.

• You enjoy working with data think analytically and are able to understand complex information structure it and communicate it in a clear and accurate way.

• You work independently reliably and in a structured manner even when several tasks run in parallel.

• You bring team spirit initiative and a structured proactive way of working.

• You are available for at least two semesters allowing you to take ownership and grow into your responsibilities.

• You are fluent in English both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus and make your daily collaboration even easier.
