DescriptionCRDF Global seeks a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the Digital Resilience portfolio supporting a fast-growing distributed team across Europe and Eurasia (including Central Asia the Caucasus and the Western Balkans). This role partners closely with program leadership technical managers and support functions across the region to ensure the organization attracts develops and retains high-quality talent in cybersecurity digital resilience and related technical fields. The Senior HRBP provides full-cycle recruitment strategic workforce planning labor compliance guidance compensation and benefits management onboarding integration and ongoing HR support to staff in multiple countries. The ideal candidate understands both the regional talent market and the operational realities of customer-driven technical programming.
Major Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Leads workforce planning organizational design and staffing strategies for a rapidly growing Digital Resilience portfolio.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for Digital Resilience program positions with the focus on technical roles across Europe and Eurasia including sourcing screening interviewing and selection.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipeline for cybersecurity digital resilience and technical program roles.
- Attend conferences career fairs and networking events to strengthen brand visibility and attract high-demand talent.
- Advise hiring managers on labor market trends compensation benchmarks and recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
HR Partnership & Workforce Support
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to program leadership.
- Support effective onboarding of new hires across multiple countries ensuring a consistent positive employee experience regardless of where they are located.
- Responsible for developing and managing compensation and benefits programs ensuring they are aligned with local market benchmarks legal requirements and organizational goals.
- In partnership with the Chief Technology Officer support the launch of the technical communities of practice.
- Provide coaching employee relations support and performance guidance for technical and programmatic staff.
- Partner with technical managers to assess team capability needs and support employee engagement development and succession planning.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the culture and operational needs of a distributed senior-level workforce.
- Lead Talent Management initiatives in the mission area and support Talent Management department objectives.
Regional Compliance & Labor Market Expertise
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws in relevant European and Eurasian countries. Manage country-specific HR processes. Stay abreast of relevant changes in European and Eurasian labor regulations.
- Support HR policy adaptation for country contexts while maintaining organizational standards.
Qualifications
- 7 years of HR experience preferably in international technical or foreign assistance environments.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Organizational Development or related field.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment particularly for technical roles (e.g. IT cybersecurity engineering).
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment practices in Poland and familiarity with broader European labor requirements. Knowledge of EU-level labor regulations and cross-border workforce considerations.
- Successful track record supporting distributed teams and senior technical staff.
- Ability and willingness to live in Warsaw and travel regionally
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); proficiency in Ukrainian or Polish a benefit.
- Proficiency in one or more Eastern European languages (e.g. Polish Ukrainian Romanian) preferred.
