Job Summary

Paraeducators are essential members of the Easthampton Public Schools instructional team. They play a critical role in expanding student access to high-quality curriculum-aligned instruction by reinforcing learning supporting differentiation and strengthening daily classroom practice. Through close collaboration with educators paraeducators help ensure that all studentsparticularly those who require additional academic behavioral or organizational supportcan fully engage in learning and make meaningful Instructional Responsibilities:-Provide direct academic support to students individually and in small groups to reinforce teacher-led instruction.-Support implementation of curriculum-aligned lessons and learning activities across content areas.-Assist students in developing academic behaviors work habits and organizational skills necessary for school success.-Support differentiated instruction by reinforcing strategies aligned to student learning goals and accommodations.-Assist with preparation organization and use of instructional materials and learning resources.-Support classroom routines transitions and structures that maximize instructional time.-Collect observational and progress-monitoring data to support instructional decision-making.-Communicate regularly with teachers regarding student progress engagement and instructional needs.-Support positive consistent classroom expectations that promote productive learning :$21.35-$23.14/hour based upon experienceApplicants must be highly qualified (have an Associates Degree or 48 college credits or have passed either ParaPro or WorkKeys).About Easthampton Public Schools Easthampton Public Schools is a vibrant community-centered district in Western Massachusetts serving approximately 1500 students across our schools.
