Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (PLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (PLAM) to join a well-established and collaborative team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in personal lines insurance excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service. As a PLAM you will manage a portfolio of personal lines accounts provide exceptional customer service and assist with quoting and marketing insurance policies. Compensation Package
- Base Salary:
- $60000 annually for experienced candidates
- $40000 annually for less experienced candidates (training provided for the right individual)
- Commission: 50% commission on new business (approximately $10000/year)
- Benefits:
- Health dental and vision insurance (employer contributes $550/month)
- Work Schedule: Onsite Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Manage a designated book of business consisting of approximately 700 accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Quote and market new and renewal business with multiple carriers.
- Write and service policies ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Handle incoming leads generated by the company shop the market and secure new business.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Prior experience in personal lines insurance within an agency setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in working with multiple carriers and marketing to carriers.
- Familiarity with AMS360 software is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present professionally and competently over the phone.
- Self-motivated hard-working and adaptable with a collaborative mindset.
- Open to candidates with varying levels of experience; training will be provided for individuals with the right aptitude and willingness to learn.
