Job Summary

Tower Engineering Professionals invites applications for a Utility (Water Sewer Storm) Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your experience by working on both private and public construction projects
The Project Manager oversees the day-to-day on-site operations of construction sites - overseeing jobs from beginning through completion - ensuring that the project is completed safely efficiently and according to project plans specifications and schedule. The project manager serves as the liaison between the crew inspectors general contractors and any other involved parties. They also directly supervise all on-site crews and subcontractors and manage the daily activities (schedules deliveries equipment) coordinating work to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time and per plan/ this role the project manager conducts regular site inspections and is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Company and regulated protocols.
As part of this work the Project Manager leads all project meetings and serves as the main point of contact for clients and consultants working to proactively inform key partners and address concerns. To that end candidates must be highly organized and adept at communicating with a variety of stakeholders. They will also perform the following tasks as well as any others needed to ensure projects are completed in a safe timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to review and adjust estimates to customer specifications.
  • Develop project schedules timelines and resource allocations for projects.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities including permitting budgeting and procurement.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders effectively. Monitor all project costs and acceptable profit margin
  • Contract subcontractors.
  • Maintain project documentation including contracts RFIs submittals and daily logs.
  • Meet with internal teams to assess project progress and anticipate potential delays. Report on project progress.
  • Monitor projects for adherence to all safety standards.

General Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in construction supervision or field management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes safety standards and building codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in field documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills.
