Job Summary

Apex Order Pickup Solutions is looking for a Global Sourcing Co-op to join the team at our global headquarters in Mason Ohio. Are you looking for a great opportunity to become a key sourcing & procurement contributor on various exciting new development initiatives in the IoT & SaaS space. Apex Order Pickup Solutions applies innovative scalable software & hardware to enable safe secure frictionless order fulfillment for foodservice retail & wholesale distribution companies. We are providing transformative Contactless Pickup solutions to a rapidly expanding global client base.

We use both every day to enable customers to perform contactless pickups of their coffee pizza take out & curbside orders or laptops. Our technology is helping Brands save time & reduce contact with their customers enabling killer customer experiences without killer overhead costs.

What youll be doing:

As a Global Sourcing Co-op you will play a crucial role in supporting our global procurement & supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Supplier Research & Evaluation: Identifying & assessing potential suppliers from various regions to ensure they meet our quality & cost requirements.
Data Analysis: Analyzing market trends pricing & supplier performance data to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Negotiation Support: Assisting in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms & conditions.
Contract Management: Helping to draft review & manage supplier contract agreements.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborating with logistics teams to ensure timely & efficient delivery of procured goods.
Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of sourced products through regular inspections & audits. This includes supporting state-of-the-art APQP processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with various departments including production finance engineering & legal to support the overall sourcing strategy.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements & cost reduction within the global sourcing framework.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain direct experience in global sourcing while mastering your analytical & negotiation skills contributing to the success of our supply chain operations.

What youll bring:

Active enrollment in a B.S. degree program in Business Administration Supply Chain Management International Business Global Sourcing or equivalent degree field.
Strong digital literacy with tools such as MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint MS Teams Adobe PDF etc.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
A willingness to learn quickly and the ability to work with highly collaborative teams.
Ability to take ownership & drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Preferred qualifications:

Exposure to ERP platforms.
Exposure to working with task management platforms.
Exposure to data analytics & reporting platforms.

Travel: Less than 25% of the time.

Hybrid work schedule we work together in the office Tuesday- Thursday with flexibility to work remotely Monday and Friday (as schedules permit).
