The Manager - Business Planning & Strategyis responsible for leading the delivery of cross-functional strategic projects and transformation initiatives across Singtel Singapore. The Manager provides structured problem solving analytical support and hands-on project leadership to translate strategy into measurable outcomes improving business performance and customer experience.

Working closely with senior leaders and programme sponsors across Singtel Singapore the role produces high-quality executive outputs establishes effective governance and drives disciplined execution and benefits realisation. The Manager provides ad hoc planning support during peak periods (e.g. AOP and quarterly reviews) to ensure programmes remain aligned to strategic priorities while maintaining a core focus on delivery.

Make an Impact by

Strategic Delivery and Portfolio Support

  • Provide ad hoc support during peak planning cycles (e.g. AOP and quarterly reviews) consolidating inputs synthesising insights and preparing senior leadership materials for decisions.
  • Establish and run programme governance for assigned strategic initiatives including cadence decision logs RAID management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Track delivery progress and benefits realisation for assigned initiatives using clear milestones and KPIs and escalating risks or dependencies early.

Strategic Projects

  • Own end-to-end delivery for priority strategic projects from definition and business case through execution go-live and BAU handover including integrated plans stakeholder coordination and delivery quality
  • Manage partners and vendors (including external consultants) where required ensuring clear scope outcomes governance and value delivery; support grant applications execution and reporting to secure funding when relevant
  • Drive change management and communications for projects ensuring frontline adoption readiness and measurable impact.
  • Maintain rigorous risk compliance and dependency management and provide concise executive updates to enable timely decisions.

Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market and competitor research across telecommunications digital services and adjacent ecosystems to inform strategic choices investment cases and delivery roadmaps.
  • Provide insights on industry benchmarks customer trends and emerging technologies (e.g. AI network evolution and sharing models where relevant) to strengthen strategic projects and recommendations.

Communications and Collaboration

  • Develop and deliver concise executive-level storyboards decision papers and proposals to support programme sponsors and leadership decision-making.
  • Prepare management decks scorecards and progress updates for senior leadership aligned to programme governance and value tracking.
  • Coordinate across Networks Finance Marketing Sales Technology and other functions to align dependencies unblock delivery and ensure outcomes land in BAU.
  • Act as a bridge between business units Group functions and enterprise-wide transformation programmes (e.g. AI28 Prime28) to align priorities and execution.

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Business Economics or related field
  • 6-8 years in strategy transformation programme delivery or consulting; experience in telecom/tech; strong project governance; track record delivering cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
  • Programme and project governance; benefits realisation and KPI design; structured problem solving and analytics; market and ecosystem research.
  • Strong communication; senior stakeholder management; structured problem solving; ability to manage multiple priorities; bias to action and delivery discipline.
  • Good to have experience delivering large-scale transformation or digital and AI initiatives.
