Summary:
The Recruitment and Resource Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR team by managing the recruitment process and ensuring the effective allocation of resources. This position is essential for maintaining a streamlined hiring process and fostering a positive candidate experience ultimately contributing to the organisations success in attracting top talent. The Recruitment and Resource Coordinator will work closely with various hiring managers and the sales and tender team to identify suitable candidates for programs of work within Willyama Services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings candidate screening and interview scheduling.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that attract suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
- Monitor and respond to requests for talent from our partner organisations
- Develop talent pools and maintain candidate relationships.
- Support the HR team in various administrative tasks including preparing reports and maintaining employee records.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the organisations reputation as an employer of choice.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in recruitment or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
- A proactive professional and detail-oriented approach
- A high degree of independence initiative and sound decision-making
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Qualifications in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field desirable
