As a Cashier at Chick-fil-A in DFW Airport you are the first point of contact for travelers who are hungry in a hurry and counting on efficient friendly service. Key Responsibilities
Accurately process guest orders using the point-of-sale system including cash credit and debit transactions
Follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability
Provide knowledgeable menu guidance including answering questions related to ingredients and food allergens
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns escalating to management when needed
Maintain guest satisfaction by delivering courteous efficient service during peak travel periods
Support daily operations by assisting with seating stocking cleanup phones and general restaurant needs
Contribute to training and supporting new team members through positive reinforcement and teamwork
Keep work areas clean organized and compliant with safety and sanitation standards
Consistently meet service quality expectations including Secret Shopper standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Food service or customer service experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy environment
Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated reliability sound judgment and professionalism
Work Environment
This role requires standing for extended periods frequent movement multitasking and interacting with a diverse traveling public. Employees should be comfortable working during busy shifts and adapting quickly to changing demands.
