As our front-line voice youll partner with our local distributors and retail partners to get our fresh & tasty beers into consumer fists. This may be through landing great spots for our displays in chain accounts making sure our beer is pouring at local bars and restaurants where you make account visits working hand in hand with brand managers at the distributor-level or managing the days on hand at warehouses to ensure the freshest beer is in the market!
Were hiring for a Area Sales Manager that lives in southeastern Wisconsin that has distribution management experience. You must be able to travel around the entire state of Wisconsin to call on all of General Beverages houses. Since thisrole covers the entire state expect to travel 1-2 days out of your 4 in-market days to visit non-local warehouses and accounts across Wisconsin. Established relationships with local bars restaurants and stores in these areas will be key to creating awareness with these partners and our consumers. Youll be in the market most days seeing accounts to drop off merch beer or anything else that will let folks know about our flagship or fun new beers. Planning your days will have you using VIP our sales data system to analyze sales opportunities to get Rev into the publics hands. Following up with your accounts and summing up your wins to the distributor will showcase those great communication skills we know youll have too. Youll also have 3 brand ambassadors so youll be working with accounts to have regularly scheduled events to execute Revs marketing & programming strategies.
This role is a base of $60-65K plus quarterly bonuses up to about $3K 10% annual bonus potential for about an additional $16-18K in bonuses if sales goals are met. Benefits begin the first day of the month after you start and can be reviewed Youll Rock This Role:
- Youll have 5-8years managing beer distributorswithin the Wisconsin 3-tiermarket with a Bachelors degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Youll have manageda team of brand ambassadors (or sampling reps) whose events coordinatewith accounts to ensure Revolution is promoted in the market appropriately and frequently.
- Youll be more than proficient pulling data to analyze in Excel to create your own sales plan that works with the quarterly bonusgoals.
- A reliable car is a must as youll travel around all of Wisconsin to different local markets.
- Able to adjust your schedule to work occasional samplings and festivals (so sometimes Tuesday-Saturday or a 2pm-10pm day). Working nights and weekends is part of beer and youll need to adjust from your typical 9-5 hours.
- Youll already have experience successfully meeting sales goals prioritizing independent tasks and handling multiple projects.
- You have to be able to maneuver 35-pound cases as well as maneuver and place full kegs as part of the job.
