Who You Are:

As a Director of People Services Compliance Analytics Reporting and Data you thrive on creating strategic opportunities to connect data and planning together. As a fast-paced industry QTS looks to leverage data in our decision-making processes and you look to be the person driving that conversation.

The Impact You Will Have:

By Driving the identity and designing scalable opportunities for applying predictive analytics you will have an opportunity to advance people insights and enhance core HR processes and outcomes along with implementing AI machine learning and partnership with the various People Services functions (Learning Talent Acquisition Talent Management People Operations etc.) you and your team will provide data critical to analyzing QTSs performance in differing areas. Additionally by developing a holistic roadmap for our people data you will have the opportunity to ensure systems are optimized teams are working collaboratively together and we have a strong connection between our processes and technology needs. As a subject matter expert you will have the opportunity to empower our leadership teams with data driven intelligence and predictive capabilities that lead to informed strategic decision making.


What You Will Do:

  • Develop a people analytics strategy & roadmap including shift into predictive analytics and action-focused analytics function.
  • Translate data into compelling narratives visualizations and insights that clearly articulate business implications - not just numerical outputs.
  • Quantify the success of peoples team initiatives and identify data-driven challenges that should be prioritized.
  • Convene and partner with key stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions utilizing scenario modeling and forecasting as key tools.
  • Oversee the team responsible for producing functional dashboards and delivering the employee listening strategy that supports leadership data-driven decision-making.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics covering talent acquisition attrition diversity employee experience and People Team operational metrics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the People Team on analytics and measurement strategy providing guidance mentorship and education across the function and serving on the company-wide Data council representing the people team.
  • Partners with members of People Services including leadership drive alignment and collaboration ensuring technology analytics and process improvements are understood adopted and fully activated.
  • Oversee training documentation and knowledge-sharing forums to ensure HR and managers are equipped to leverage new tools insights and capabilities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on the intersection of technology analytics and people strategy - helping shape a more modern scalable HR operating model.
  • Identify advise quantify impact and prime the organization for a human-first AI philosophy for the people team by embedding AI tools and strategies that improve the overall experience for QTS employees.
  • Partner with our internal AI governance counsel to ensure AI adoption and use aligns with established governance responsible-use principles and data integrity requirements.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation innovation and continuous improvement across the People Team - encouraging new ideas and bold solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local state and federal regulations (e.g. AAP EEOC etc.).
  • Partner with Legal and HR COEs to integrate HR compliance requirements into data audits system configurations and business processes by developing policies procedures and training programs to maintain compliance and prepare for internal and external audits.
  • Oversee vendor and third-party security assessments to ensure alignment with company standards.

What You Will Need

  • 8 years experience with data analytics tools Workday (or other HCM) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others. Work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.
  • Collaborative leadership skills to challenge the status quo and chart an effective technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Ability to automate and deliver self-service tools and dashboards to allow for more sophisticated analyses complex problem solving and business value.
  • Strong problem-structuring and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong Excel PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Proven ability to challenge and motivate a team to foster innovation in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
