Job Summary

Role: ABOR Expert

Location: Jersey City NJ (Hybrid).

Role Overview:

The ABOR Expert is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely calculation validation and reporting of account balances and ownership data across portfolios. This role supports operational integrity regulatory compliance and client reporting requirements within the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Balance Management:

Maintain and reconcile portfolio balances across multiple systems and custodians.
Validate daily positions cash balances and transaction activity.

Ownership Reporting:

Ensure accurate ownership data for funds accounts and investors.
Prepare and deliver regulatory and client ownership reports (e.g. UCITS SEC filings).

Data Integrity & Controls:

Implement robust controls to prevent discrepancies in ABOR data.
Investigate and resolve exceptions promptly.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Liaise with Front Office Fund Accounting Custodians and Compliance teams.
Support audits and regulatory reviews.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to automate and streamline ABOR processes.
Contribute to system enhancements and testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of investment operations fund accounting and custody processes.
Proficiency in ABOR systems (e.g. SimCorp Dimension Aladdin or similar platforms).
Knowledge of financial instruments (equities fixed income derivatives).
Excellent analytical problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (UCITS SEC MiFID).
Advanced Excel and data management skills; SQL or VBA is a plus.

Experience:

5 years in investment operations or fund accounting with ABOR focus.
Experience in asset management or global custody environment preferred.
