Job Summary

Electrical Engineer - Cedar Rapids Iowa

Domain: Medical Devices

Responsibilities of Role:
Work as an Electrical Engineer and develop design of electrical distribution system for FMCG process plant
Perform power system studies on electrical distribution system of the plant.
Discus with client to align on the project scope.
Collect the required inputs required for developing the required Engineering packages.
Coordinate with various vendors and site construction team for completion of the design packages.
Provide support to study the panels for UL508A compliance.

Skills Required:
Should have worked as an Electrical System Studies Engineer on electrical distribution system for process plants.
Experienced in LV Electrical Distribution Design Power Distribution Panels Motor Control Centers for process plants in compliance with NEC.
Sound Knowledge of NEC UL508A and IEEE standards pertaining to electrical equipment. substations Transformers 480V panels MCC VFDs Distribution panels Lighting and grounding design.
Knowledge of Cable sizing conduit sizing power and control panel design lighting calculation grounding design cable tray sizing cable tray layout design.
Develop Engineering information packages bill of materials elementary drawings single line drawings equipment arrangement.
Knowledge on Electrical Safety requirements.
Develop and lead the IQOQ activities.
Trained and qualified in NFPA70E requirements.

Experience Required: - 5 - 10 Years
