THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Paralegal for a leading global asset manager in Switzerland. The Senior Paralegal will be a key member of the legal workstream supporting a strategic business transformation within the asset management function. The role involves contributing to complex integration efforts across multiple business lines. Fluency in English and German is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Overseeing the review amendment and completion of a high volume of legal agreements involving institutional clients distribution partners third-party service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying and prioritising legal documentation requirements with the ability to distinguish between regulatory-driven obligations and general contractual updates.
- Acting as a central coordination point between Legal Compliance Investment teams Relationship Management and external counsel to ensure efficient execution of legal workstreams.
- Maintaining structured oversight of legal deliverables including tracking open items key risks milestones and relevant regulatory dependencies.
- Providing legally sound input into project deliverables such as status reports steering committee materials and internal communications.
- Supporting the alignment of contractual documentation with the organisations future-state operating model including contributing to the redesign or implementation of legal processes where required.
YOUR PROFILE- A minimum of five years experience in a paralegal or legal operations role ideally within asset management private banking or another regulated financial services environment.
- Solid understanding of standard legal documentation in financial services including investment mandates distribution agreements client onboarding documentation and regulatory disclosures.
- Proven ability to manage large volumes of documentation and coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to legal detail with confidence in reviewing and interpreting complex documentation.
- Prior involvement in change programs or cross-functional projects is an advantage.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- A degree in law or a related field is preferred; paralegal certification or a comparable legal qualification is desirable.
