DescriptionDigital Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE: DLR) is looking to add a Senior Tax Associate to its global tax team. The new exciting role will involve supporting on direct tax compliance M&A tax reporting and tax controversy for EMEA and will report to the EMEA tax director.
What youll do
- You will assist and coordinate with preparation of tax compliance including annual corporate tax
- returns CbCR notifications and Pillar 2 returns for the EMEA group working with Big4 advisors.
- You will coordinate and support payments that are due for direct taxes.
- Assistance on tax inquiries and tax audits and controversy for the EMEA group as they arise.
- You will assist with US GAAP provisioning including calculation of current and deferred taxes.
- Assistance on M&A activities to support the growth of Digital Realty.
- You will provide a support role for technical support on commercial transactions and restructures.
- Work with the EMEA and Global Tax team and third-party advisors to maintain and prepare support for local transfer pricing documentation for the EMEA region.
- You will support the EMEA tax team on broader tax automation projects and ad hoc advisory matters.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance Accounting Treasury Legal and Operations to ensure alignment on tax requirements and support business activities.
What youll need
Qualifications
- Recently qualified with Chartered Tax Advisors or equivalent qualification
- Qualification in Chartered Accounting ideal but not required
- Experience working with MS Excel and tax automation software ideal but not required
