Store / Pharmacy Operations Managerfor a busy pharmacy in
Donegal.What you need to know:This is a
non-clinical senior operational role responsible for ensuring the smooth and consistent running of a
multi-site community pharmacy group (4 sites). You will work closely with the Managing Director to translate strategic direction into day-to-day operational execution driving standards efficiency and profitability across the business.
Main responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations across a 7-day pharmacy business ensuring consistency and performance visibility
- Coordinate Manager Pharmacists Retail Supervisors and their teams including rotas scheduling and cover planning
- Lead performance management conversations fairly and consistently
- Build maintain and own the operational scorecard and SOPs
- Ensure high standards of regulatory compliance clinical governance and patient safety
- Manage digital operations including eCommerce and online prescription services
- Maintain strong customer service and retail standards across all sites
- Drive financial performance through cost control margin discipline and operational efficiency
- Identify operational issues early and ensure timely resolution
What were looking for:- A strong operational leader with a systems-driven mindset
- Confident managing people and holding teams accountable
- Organised detail-oriented and commercially aware
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership to execute strategy
- Someone who thrives on coordination follow-through and operational excellence
What we require:- Minimum 3 years experience in pharmacy or multi-site healthcare retail operations
- Proven people-management and performance management experience
- Strong understanding of community pharmacy workflows and compliance
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
