We are seeking an experience and motivated Senior Landscape Architect to lead complex municipal and public-sector projects from concept through construction. This role provides technical and design leadership manages project teams oversees budgets and schedules and serves as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The Senior Landscape Architect also plays a key role in mentoring staff shaping design standards and contributing to the firms long-term growth and reputation. Key Responsibilities - Lead the planning design and delivery of complex high-visibility municipal projects
- Oversee and approve design concepts construction documents and technical deliverables
- Manage project budgets schedules scopes and resources to ensure successful outcomes
- Serve as the primary client liaison presenting design solutions and managing feedback
- Mentor and supervise Landscape Architects junior staff and design team members
- Coordinate with engineers planners contractors and regulatory agencies
- Conduct site visits to support construction administration and ensure design intent
- Contribute to design standards best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture (Masters preferred)
- Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required
- Minimum of 7 years of professional landscape architecture experience
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong experience leading municipal or public-sector projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D or Revit preferred
- Proficiency with SketchUp Rhino Lumion or similar visualization tools
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign)
- Familiarity with GIS tools and project management software preferred
- Excellent leadership communication and project management skills
Work Environment & Schedule - In-office for the first six (6) months; hybrid work arrangement available thereafter
- Office-based leadership and design work combined with regular field visits
- Frequent travel to project sites client meetings and stakeholder engagements
