Job Summary

Position Role: Strategic planning and operational support for all Army TLB estate laydown changes including initial feasibility project initiations site separations / enclaving and site disposals.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide evidenced advice to Infra Strat/Plans on opportunities and COA feasibility driving coherence between

DEO(A) and the wider Basing & Infra enterprise in Army and MOD.

2. Primary interface between DEO(Army) and DIO Acquisitions & Disposals to forecast and schedule DEO(A) site

separation and closure activity planning to 5 years in detail and 10 years in outline.

3. Engage key stakeholders to scope basing changes synchronise unit reprovision site closure works site drawdown

and vacation and final disposal.

4. Hold and update the Single Version of the Truth that underpins all closure activity planning including units affected.

Prepare detail of any disposal date changes to inform Ministerial Announced Disposal updates.

5. Closure Steering Committee secretary coordinating UK wide site closure resourcing and progress monitoring.

6. Identify lessons common themes and opportunities through regular interaction with DEO Regional leads DIO

Regional Delivery DIO Acquisitions & Disposals Army HQ Strat Centre B&I Infra Strat and Plans.

7. Act as Line Manager and 1RO to WO1 Basing Transition.

8. BPT cover SO2 Plans role and deputise for SO1 DEO Plans as necessary.
