About the Role
Leicestershire County Council have been implementing their Care Technology Service within adult social care since April 2022. An exciting opportunity has become available for an assessor / installer to join our well established and supportive team in implementing Care Technology within peoples own homes.
The aim of the new Care Technology Service is to assist people in remaining independent for longer stay at home and give people their confidence back. The new service will positively impact a wide range of stakeholders across the council and across the local health and care system from care professionals and wider staff to people who need support their carers and family members.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing and delivering positive outcomes through the use of care technology alongside other support methods that the individual may or may not receive from adult social care.
The role is a field based (Countywide) position which involves completion of holistic assessments installations collections repairs / maintenance of Care Technology equipment in peoples own homes. A key part of this role is to promote independence and provide ongoing technological support and advice on care technology as part of the overall provision of community care services.
The primary aim is to ensure that people are able to achieve better outcomes and maximum independence through the use of appropriate technology with the emphasis on effective assessment review and evaluation.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
