Family Law Solicitor / Legal Executive
Salary: 35000 to 55000
Location: Oldham
Experience: 1 year plus all levels considered
An excellent opportunity for a Family Law Solicitor Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal to join a well-established private family team with an existing caseload and clear scope to grow your practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client-facing work takes pride in high-quality drafting and wants to develop within a supportive ambitious department.
The Opportunity
You will join a busy Family Law Department with a strong local reputation and a steady flow of work. The team is looking for someone who can run matters with confidence build trusted client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
The Role
You will manage a varied private family caseload with a focus on:
Private children matters (acting for applicants and respondents)
Divorce and associated financial remedy work
Unmarried couple disputes
Pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements
Matters handled both pre-action and through litigation where required
What Were Looking For
Essential
Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales Chartered Legal Executive or an experienced Family Law Paralegal
Experience handling private family matters particularly private children and divorce
Confident drafting skills and a practical client-focused approach
Strong organisation and the ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
Professional communication style with the ability to build rapport quickly
Desirable
Experience with financial remedy work
Interest in business development and helping to grow a department
Whats On Offer
