The Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) IT is seeking a proactive Application Portfolio Analyst to join the Digital Systems & Platforms team for a short-term role. Youll manage and improve our application inventory lead consolidation and upgrades advise business units on technology and maintain high standards of documentation and cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and align the full application portfolio with business needs
  • Lead strategies for application consolidation and upgrades
  • Advise and support business units on technology choices
  • Document application lifecycle support models and capabilities

About You:

You bring a proactive solutions-focused approach and can balance priorities while meeting business needs.

Your strengths include:

  • Solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle application architecture and cloud systems.
  • Skill in influencing negotiating and building trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in project management requirements gathering and service catalogue management.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and help improve applications and services.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement strong documentation and high cyber security standards.

Essential: Relevant tertiary qualifications or proven experience in IT governance and management within complex environments.
