Summary:
The operations manager leads motivates and supports a large production division to ensure customer satisfaction revenue growth profit growth management development and staff development. They oversee all operational activities and pursue operational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
2. Oversee the management of operational activities.
3. Maintain constant communication with management staff and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.
4. Develop implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure a positive customer and client experience.
5. Manage staff development of the production division.
6. Work closely with general manager to ensure operations remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Develop implement and oversee protocols to maintain facility vehicles equipment and consumables.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Review document and discuss operational outcomes and key measures with general manager.
2. Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organizations internal capacity.
3. Continued development of leadership and management skills as well as production expertise.
4. Other tasks/duties as required by employer.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set:
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations.
Minimum 3 years management experience.
Strong interpersonal skills leadership skills and management skills.
Strong communication skills oral and written.
Experience in cleaning restoration or construction.
Formal Education/Training:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; associates degree or bachelors degree strongly preferred.
Current industry certifications strongly preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
This is a management position routinely working in an office environment; however field visits and field management will require jobsite activities. Occasional jobsite activities may involve lifting 50 pounds independently occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance walking and standing for long periods of time driving sitting climbing ladders utilizing scaffolding or lifts pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects working around chemicals and working overhead.
