The Executive Protection Manager reports to the Physical Security Director and is responsible for overseeing the Executive Protection Program for Honeywell Aerospace. This role ensures the safety and security of executives with primary focus on the CEO. This role leads security staff manages the protection budget assesses threats designs strategic security measures and collaborates with internal and external partners to proactively mitigate risks. The ideal candidate is well versed in providing proactive protection capabilities planning logistics in complex scenarios and responds effectively under pressure. This role will have high visibility with Honeywell Aerospace executives and other key stakeholders. We are looking for someone passionate about security who can drive processes to meet both business objectives and security requirements.
This position is based in Phoenix AZ. The role requires flexibility to work outside standard office hours including evenings weekends and holidays based on executive schedules and security needs. Frequent domestic and international travel and site visits are expected including customer and government offices.
Role is eligible for a relocation benefit.
Responsibilities- Program Oversight: Lead and manage the executive protection program ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Staff and Budget Management: Supervise protection personnel oversee scheduling training and performance evaluations; manage program budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
- CEO Protection: Direct and implement security measures to safeguard the CEO at their residence office and during domestic and international travel.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities facing company executives through ongoing risk analysis and intelligence gathering.
- Strategy Design: Develop and update comprehensive protection strategies tailored to executive profiles travel itineraries and emerging risks.
- Logistics Planning: Coordinate logistics for executive movements including transportation accommodation advance site visits and contingency planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other security teams administrative support and external vendors to integrate protection efforts and ensure seamless operations.
- Mitigation Strategies: Create and implement actionable plans to address identified risks including emergency response protocols and security technology deployment.
- Workspace Security: Oversee the physical security of executive workspaces ensuring access control surveillance and safety measures are in place and effective.
- Law Enforcement Liaison: Establish and maintain relationships with local state and federal law enforcement agencies to facilitate rapid response and information sharing.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelors degree.
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in executive protection corporate security or law enforcement with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in risk assessment security strategy development and crisis management.
- Strong organizational leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent judgment discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Ability to travel frequently and respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
- Eligible for a firearm license in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
