Position Overview
A large multi-site acute care health system in Houston TX is seeking an experienced Administrative Director of Emergency Services to provide executive leadership and oversight for Emergency Services operations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence regulatory compliance financial performance and high-quality patient-centered care across multiple Emergency Department locations within a high-volume Level II Trauma environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational leadership for Emergency Services across multiple ED locations including free-standing emergency departments
Ensure delivery of safe efficient and high-quality patient care in compliance with regulatory accreditation and organizational standards
Lead patient throughput capacity planning volume forecasting and patient flow optimization initiatives
Develop implement and monitor departmental policies procedures and performance metrics
Oversee quality improvement initiatives clinical performance and patient experience outcomes
Manage departmental budgets labor productivity staffing models and operating expenses
Lead develop and retain leadership and frontline teams to promote engagement accountability and professional growth
Collaborate with executive leadership physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support organizational growth and emergency services strategy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
3 years of recent acute care Emergency Department leadership experience
