Job Summary
Job Title: Travel RN Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Must Reside More Than 75 Miles Away
Location: Rochester NY 14621
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
3x12 or 4x12 schedules available
Pay Rate: $55 $63 hourly (weekly gross based on hours worked)
Position Summary
A leading acute care hospital in Rochester NY is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role supports stepdown-level patients requiring close monitoring and advanced cardiac and respiratory care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Active New York Single State RN License is required no pending licenses accepted.
Required Skills & Experience
Telemetry and Stepdown-level care (PCU / DOU / IMC)
Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Participation in Rapid Response / Code teams
Oxygen therapy and airway support
Nasal cannula oxygen administration
Non-invasive airway management
Cardiac drips (no titration required)
Blood product administration
Central and peripheral line care and management
IV therapy and phlebotomy
Isolation precautions and infection control practices
Education & Certifications
Active New York State RN License (Single State) required
ACLS required
BLS required
NIHSS required
