Job Summary

JOB GOAL:To develop in each student an appreciation of American ideals and cultural heritage; to develop proficiency in the use of social studies inquiry skills and concepts; to motivate each student to understand and exercise the rights privileges and responsibilities of citizenship; to develop understanding of the geographical historical cultural and political factors that influence the development of world regions; and to encourage students to develop sound opinions based on study of facts concerning operation of political and economic system. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: currency in the curriculum. a working knowledge of the core curriculum for Middle School social curriculum around key learning standards/concepts that provide opportunities for reasoning logic analysis and synthesis when planning units lessons and current in the various content fields and applies that knowledge to the instructional to the ongoing evaluation of the .
