Join our Greenwood IN team as a CNC Laser Cutting Technician on a 2nd shift schedule. Picture your evening: you arrive to a clean temperature-controlled shop review the days prints stage material and dial in the laser. You run parts with confidence check critical features with gauges and keep production movingsafely accurately and on time.
What a Typical Shift Looks Like
- Study blueprints and operation sheets to determine the correct setup sequence and operations.
- Set up and operate the laser to cut sheet metal parts per specifications including prototype runs and forming to guidelines.
- Verify quality using calipers (dial and Vernier) micrometers squares and height gauges.
- Track output meticulouslylog good pieces and scrapped parts with accurate counts.
- Keep tools measuring instruments and work areas organized and in top condition.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of related experience and/or training operating laser or similar equipment.
- Ability to follow written verbal and diagrammed instructions.
- Strong math skills with units of measure fractions decimals and whole numbers.
- Fluent in reading blueprints and operation sheets to determine setups and processes.
- Comfort walking throughout the shift and lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.
