Position Overview
Holy Rosary Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled First Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will foster a supportive engaging and faith-based learning environment that supports both academic growth and spiritual development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instruction across core subjects (Reading Math Science Social Studies Religion) with creativity and fidelity to curriculum standards.
Promote Catholic values through daily prayer integration of faith into lessons and meaningful classroom routines.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess and monitor student performance communicate progress to families and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with colleagues participate in faculty meetings and engage in professional development.
Support school liturgies prayer services and community-building events.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education or related field (required) and/or Teaching experience
Valid Louisiana teaching certification preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to Catholic education and parish school community.
