Head Soccer Coach

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (or international equivalent);
• Five years of soccer coaching experience with a high level of success; superior knowledge of the techniques and strategies of the sport as demonstrated by a high level of success;
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and a proven commitment to high ethical standards and academics;
• Demonstrated success in recruiting high-caliber student-athletes to a successful soccer program committed to athletic excellence;
• Professional experience working effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships;
• Excellent organizational administrative and supervisory skills;
• Superior communication and public relations skills;
• Working proficiency in general office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and online database systems (please specify).
• Working knowledge of and ability to:
  • Communicate effectively (written and oral);

  • Operate effectively within a highly regulated team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree or equivalent;
• NCAA Division I head coaching experience and a minimum of five years of successful intercollegiate coaching (assistant coaches from highly successful programs and individuals with equivalent instructional and administrative experience are encouraged to apply).
• Experience in successfully managing and coaching female student-athletes and experience in recruiting international student-athletes.
• Successful Division I coaching experience at a major conference is highly desirable.
