Software Engineer (RubyRails), Advertising Platform

A robust advertising business supports many of Doximitys free-to-use clinician-facing products. Were looking for a pragmatic full-stack Software Engineer with at least two years of experience building web applications in Ruby on Rails. Theyll join our fully remote team to help us build and maintain our best-in-breed native advertising platform.

About You

• You have a solid foundation in Ruby on Rails and are comfortable working across the full stack. Bonus if youve worked with or another modern JavaScript framework.
• You enjoy collaborating with Product and Data teams to turn ideas into real features that drive revenue and satisfy end users.
• Youre passionate about building user-facing software thats elegant performant and easy to use.
• You value the balance between iteration speed and high-quality code craftsmanship.
• Youre up for the challenge of scaling distributed systems to support millions of operations per day.
• Youre excited to support a wide variety of end users including physicians clients and our internal teams.
• You thrive in a remote-first environment. You are self-motivated but you appreciate collaboration and growth opportunities within a diverse team.

About the Role

Youll join a small (4-8 person) mostly autonomous team of software engineers UX designers data analysts data engineers and product owners.

To be successful youll master a variety of technologies including Ruby on Rails TypeScript MySQL Sidekiq GraphQL Apache Kafka Redis and Snowflake.

On a typical day you might do any of the following:

• Collaborate with the Product team on our client business intelligence portal.
• Enhance the user experience of our state-of-the-art advertising CMS.
• Work with the data team to make our ad campaigns run more effectively and efficiently.
• Improve the user experience of our ads across our suite of web and mobile applications.

Although were a fully remote team you will be required to attend three company offsites per year in various U.S. cities for 3 nights at a time (total 9 travel days per year).

Compensation

The US total compensation range for this full-time position is $165000 to $195000 (inclusive of salary and equity). Our ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the U.S. Within the range individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills experience and education/training.
