Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Associate/Junior Partner Criminal Law

Salary Range: $80000 - $120000 (commensurate with experience)

King Law Offices PC a well-established and respected criminal law firm is seeking an experienced criminal law attorney to join our team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner. We are committed to providing top-notch legal services to our clients and are eager to welcome a highly skilled attorney to help us continue our tradition of excellence. We are looking to fill this position in the following locations: Columbus (Polk Co. NC) Marion (McDowell Co. NC) Lincolnton (Lincoln Co. NC) Waynesville (Haywood Co. NC) Charlotte (Mecklenburg) and Brevard (Transylvania Co. NC).

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in various criminal law matters including but not limited to domestic violence assault drug charges juvenile crimes white collar crimes and misdemeanor offenses
Manage a caseload with minimal supervision ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings motions and briefs
Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management
Participate in business development initiatives including networking events and client meetings
Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

Requirements:

J.D. from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a state bar association
2-10 years of experience practicing family law
Excellent analytical research and writing skills
Strong negotiation and mediation skills
Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload
Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered focus
Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus
