The Department of Clinical Translational Research Site is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager of Research Support to work full-time hybrid in Miami. The Project Manager Research Support (A) works to ensure the successful implementation of University of Miami Clinical & Translational Science Institute (CTSI) education training and career development programs that benefit the research workforce. The incumbent coordinates and manages the planning and implementation of a variety of research educational activities and strategic initiatives that are complex wide in scope and involve numerous stakeholders.

Aids in the evaluation of problems with workflow organization and planning and develops appropriate analytical approaches.
Develops and delivers various presentations reports and surveys.
Performs analyses of datasets using standard packages to import update and manipulate datasets.
Presents studies results at professional scientific meetings and conferences.
Writes manuscripts and journal articles for peer-reviewed medical journals.
Ensures that research program objectives are communicated met and results are documented.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Education:
Bachelors degree in relevant field
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Department Specific Functions
Plans implements and supports the operations of workforce development educational initiatives (e.g. seminars training sessions education programs trainee groups) for the CTSI.
Implements project management tools to track milestones task completion project status and other key programmatic and project information including meeting management to ensure programmatic progress.
Connects junior research faculty with career development resources and educational offering; helps them access services to develop internal funding applications (e.g. K-award applicants pilot award applicants); plans and implements strategic initiatives for KLUES which brings together K- and K-like scholars around four thematic areas information exchange academic social networking group learning cooperative mentorship; and ensures the integration of all campuses on workforce development initiatives.
Contributes to curriculum development and enhancements including completing literature searches; programmatic research; feedback from trainees and constituents and program process improvements for CTSI educational initiatives.
Performs data collection and data analysis which may include developing surveys program assessments to assess program effectiveness educational program results and outcomes.
Develops and delivers various presentations reports and surveys.
Generates contributes collects and manages education and training content creation for dissemination and promotion.
Coordinates collaborations between CTSI modules and programs on education and training initiatives.
Works closely with the Evaluation & Tracking team to dine metrics and develop programmatic evaluation plans activities and implementation of evaluation strategies and processes.
Coordinates effective dissemination of evaluation findings conclusions recommendations and lessons learned to intended audiences to improve program design policy strategy and contributing to wider learning.
Participates in national CTSA Workforce Development meetings by serving as a liaison with other Workforce Development personnel and leaders from across the CTSA consortium.
Other duties may be assigned - consistent with the knowledge skills and needs of the CTSI.
