Job Summary
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.
- Performs scheduled maintenance of equipment as necessary.
- Emergency repairs of equipment may alter break and lunch times however break and lunch times will be given.
- Thorough preventive maintenance checks will be performed on a routine schedule.
- Performs repairs including but not limited to electrical pneumatic hydraulic and PLC troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Comply with ISO guidelines OSHA Safety and Health regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Maintain Plant buildings and grounds to include but not limited to plumbing painting mowing and other ground maintenance.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a self-directed environment efficiently.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently
- Willingness to learn and keep up with current technologies.
- Ability to crouch crawl climb ladders operate man lifts and work at various heights
- Good basic math skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of electrical schematic reading and understanding.
- Knowledge of mechanical concepts.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of machine maintenance experience
- Preferred2 year degree in Mechanical/Electrical field or in the process of achieving degree or equivalent work experience.
