The Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment & Water (DCCEEW) are looking for a Principal Solution Architect to join a dynamic and growing IT team!
About the role
The Principal Solution Architect works closely with a team of Solution Architects to create technology solutions that align with enterprise standards and roadmaps. This role involves developing capability models analysing solution options and collaborating with technology teams to document and implement end-to-end solution designs on schedule.
As the Principal Solution Architect your key responsibilities will include defining solutions that meet business demands and align with enterprise architecture working with service providers to ensure IT solutions deliver business benefits and managing service level agreements. You will be responsible for interpreting business requirements informing strategic technology investments and ensuring solutions are implemented as expected.
In this role you will be challenged with balancing project interdependencies developing tailored solutions to align with various architectures and staying current with industry best practices.
