Job Summary
Join Occupli in this role where youll be part of Project Delivery with responsibility for construction of a new solar farm.
Occupli are recruiting for a Construction Site and Safety Manager
County Meath.
Project description
Solar Farm will generate 8.4MW enough to power more than 2000 homes per year.
Experience in HV industry (substations & cables) or Oil & Gas industry would be an advantage.
Construction / Civil / Electrical / Large Scale Coordination.
Site management and management of contractors.
Ensuring all contractors on site are working to the latest set of construction drawings / details.
Quality control and documentation
Championing Health & Safety and Health & Safety culture.
Ongoing communication with Project leaders and vendors Liaise with clients representatives/Design Team members as appropriate.
Documentation completed to identify the steps to be undertaken to carry out a specific activity or task in a safe manner.
Keep a daily diary of all relevant events.
Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.

Requirements
Site Manager Requirements:
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
First Aid
Manual Handling
Safe pass
IOSH or PSCS
Experience in Microsoft Office & other essential computer programmes
Ability to provide evidence to inspect & record all of requirements mentioned.
Required Skills:
Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or industrial projects Recognised Health & Safety qualification (Diploma or equivalent) Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification Previous experience working on construction sites; pharmaceutical or regulated environments desirable Strong ability to work independently during night shifts Well-developed communication organisational and problem-solving skills Capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced site environment Must have legal authorisation to work in Ireland
