Ignites an online daily from the Financial Times is looking for a reporter to join its team covering the mutual fund and ETF industry. This reporter will cover how Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Labor actions impact the mutual fund and retirement industries. The reporter will write about regulation (and deregulation) as well as major enforcement actions against asset managers like Vanguard Empower and Invesco. The reporter will also cover fund companies including Goldman Sachs Asset Management and MFS.
We are looking for a reporter who can dive into long sophisticated documents and understand what is important. This reporter should also be comfortable speaking with sources digging through data and translating jargon.
We are the world-class publication covering the mutual fund ETF and 401(k) marketplaces and a go-to source for industry decision-makers.
The position is based in Manhattan however we have a hybrid remote-work policy.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $71000$92000. To ensure pay fairness the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skills; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organisational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations.
