Job Summary

The City of Bunbury is inviting expressions of interest from Aboriginal applicants in accordance with Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA) for casual or fixed-term opportunities at the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre.

The Wardandi Wanil Art Centre is a new cultural space celebrating creativity storytelling and connection to Country. We are seeking people who enjoy working with the public and are keen to be part of a welcoming community-focused environment.

Available roles will primarily support front-of-house gallery and studio operations with a strong focus on customer service and creating a positive experience for visitors artists and community members.

About the Talent Pool

This Expression of Interest will form a talent pool for upcoming employment opportunities at the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre. If a suitable role becomes available that matches your availability and skills you may be contacted to discuss further.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A positive customer-focused attitude
  • Experience in customer service retail hospitality or front-of-house roles (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to learn and follow procedures
  • Respect for cultural diversity and an interest in arts and culture
  • Reliability punctuality and flexibility to work across a range of shifts including weekends

No prior gallery or arts experience is requiredtraining will be provided.
