Job Summary and Responsibilities
Every day you will apply your keen assessment skills and critical thinking to manage diverse patient needs develop and execute effective care plans and ensure calm focused intervention in both routine and emergent situations.

- Reviews and evaluates existing data in patients record. Collects any additional pertinent clinical information through physical examination and bedside parameters.
- Performs and evaluates peak flows/Spirometry before and after bronchodilators according to policy and orders.
- Completes thorough assessment of patients.
- Communicates all critical information to physicians nurses and others on an inter-disciplinary patient care team.
- Proactive in initiating Ventilator Discontinuation. Follows all policies on documentation ET tube care and other Ventilator Bundle guidelines.
- Recognizes the need for and performs emergency and acute respiratory care procedures accurately and safely in a timely manner with minimal supervisory intervention. This may include intubations in an emergency situation according to individual competency.
Job Requirements
- Associates Of Science Graduate of an accredited Associate of Applied Science Degree Program for Certification in Respiratory Therapy. upon hire
- Respiratory Care Practitioner: AR upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR within 30 Days and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 Days
