Responsibilities:

Architect and oversee the end-to-end implementation of scalable secure and compliant technical solutions for fintech applications aligning with business and regulatory requirements.
Lead the development of API-first architectures grounded in REST principles facilitating seamless interoperability across internal systems and external partners.
Define and enforce data interchange standards using JSON and XML ensuring consistency performance and seamless integration across microservices and legacy infrastructures.
Conduct comprehensive system evaluations performance bench-marking and technical feasibility analyses to inform strategic decision-making for new features and integrations.
Utilize Postman to design test document and validate API endpoints and workflows across development staging and production environments with precision and rigor.
Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications architecture blueprints and implementation roadmaps.
Ensure system robustness through fault-tolerant design disaster recovery planning and proactive monitoring and observability strategies.
Monitor and integrate emerging trends in fintech cloud-native technologies and cybersecurity best practices to drive continuous innovation and platform evolution.
Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers promoting a culture of technical rigor collaboration and knowledge dissemination.

Requirements

Requirements:

5 years of experience in solution architecture with a specialized focus on fintech or financial services environments.
Proven expertise in designing and deploying RESTful APIs including deep proficiency in HTTP protocols authentication frameworks rate limiting and versioning strategies.
Advanced mastery of JSON and XML encompassing schema design validation transformation and performance optimization techniques.
Hands-on experience with Postman for API development testing automation and comprehensive documentation.
Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Practical experience with integration patterns including event-driven architecture message queuing systems and service mesh implementations.
In-depth understanding of financial industry standards such as PCI DSS SOX and GDPR coupled with a commitment to secure coding and data protection principles.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degrees or industry-recognized certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect TOGAF) are highly advantageous.
Exceptional communication leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse non-technical audiences with clarity and impact.
