Job Overview

The BIM Engineer is responsible for developing coordinating and managing Building Information Models to support design construction and project execution activities. The role ensures accurate digital representation of building systems enhances collaboration among stakeholders and improves project efficiency through effective BIM implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop manage and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural structural and MEP disciplines.
  

• Prepare coordinated 3D models and drawings as per project specifications and standards.
  

• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM software.
  

• Coordinate with architects engineers contractors and consultants for model integration.
  

• Generate construction drawings shop drawings and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
  

• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards workflows and protocols.
  

• Maintain accurate project documentation and model revisions.
  

• Support project planning scheduling and sequencing through 4D/5D BIM applications.
  

• Assist in BIM execution planning and implementation strategies.
  

• Provide technical support and training to junior BIM staff when required.
  

• Participate in coordination meetings and design reviews.
  

• Ensure data integrity and version control of BIM files.
  

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  

• Certification in BIM/Revit is preferred.
  

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant BIM experience (Singapore experience preferred).
  

• Knowledge of Singapore building codes and construction standards is an advantage.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP).
  

• Strong working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection.
  

• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM 360 / ACC.
  

• Familiarity with Dynamo SketchUp or other visualization tools is a plus.
  

• Ability to generate BOQs and quantity take-offs from models.
  

• Understanding of LOD (Level of Development) standards.
